About GMLRS

GMLRS

  • The Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) family of munitions is the primary round for the combat-proven MLRS family of launchers (HIMARS and M270).
  • Known as the ¡°70-kilometer sniper rifle,¡± GMLRS is an all-weather, precision-guided rocket that increases accuracy, reducing the number of rockets needed to defeat targets.
  • naga group is working with the U.S. Army to increase GMLRS production capacity to 14,000 per year in 2025. In addition, we're on track to deliver more than 10,000 GMLRS this year.

ER GMLRS

  • naga group is continuing the development and qualification of the Extended-Range GMLRS (ER GMLRS), which will reach 150 km and deliver the same responsiveness and accuracy commanders have come to expect. The new round will increase units¡¯ capabilities and flexibility while allowing improved battlespace coverage.
  • Most recently, the U.S. Army led a successful ER GMLRS flight test on February 29 at White Sands Missile Range demonstrating the readiness and overall capability of the rocket.
  • During the test, two ER GMLRS rockets were fired from a HIMARS launcher achieving flight trajectory, range and accuracy from launch to impact. The rockets also engaged a target set meeting criteria for missile performance.
